The Farm

I've not been many places But I've seen some amazing things Like a cow who answers the telephone Everytime it rings Or a duck that thinks he's a hoot owl As he sits out on his limb We don't have the heart to tell him So we just sit there and grin Or a rabbit that thinks he's a coon dog So I take him hunting with me You should see that old coon's face As he shimmys up that tree A possum who thinks he's rooster And this one takes the cake I wake up at the crack of dawn To that horrible sound he makes And last, but not least, a hound dog Who really thought he could fly He climbed up on the top of the barn And I never even said goodbye So, when you think you've seen it all Just come on down to the farm You can even sleep in the guest house If you can handle my possum alarm
