The Faraway Tree

THE FARAWAY TREE

The faraway tree is a monumental mystery its sentiment is gripped 
Within magical history 
As i connect to its enchanting beauty i wonder who else has 
appreciated its story 
Magic sways  through its knarled twisted branches as
I stand graced by its great worldly chances
 I wonder
What this tree would say about time as it stands so grand i take in this moment and it becomes mine
i touch it’s thick knarled skin and tune to its language i sense a swirl of energy that wraps around its very existence 
its roots run deep into the core anchoring themselves to the earths own law 

I love this tree with all my heart i love its mystery 
I love how it stands so wizened and wise 
with faraway magic, twisted surprise 
a first class honour to anyone’s eyes
