The Family

So many years have passed,
And now am becoming aged,
But still feel young at heart,
When i recall those past days,
The days we lived as a family
In the home called school
That had a name of 'KIKS'

Every morning was the warning gong,
And the special gong for sleep lovers,
Come later with our best boarding
master(macha)
Forcing us to run for the thick
substance
'kiere' that was to keep us untill eleven
And then 'muhua' and 'ngumu' would
take over
With the 'cunning students'
demanding for 'corners'
'Ngamaa' and 'muthere' being our
daily meals
With 'vao' being the appetizer
And the 'cunning students'
demanding for 'ngozi'

My 'family members'
How is life taking you
Always have hope
Never let opportunities pass by your
side.
Utilize them and become great men
we are not meant to follow
But to be the ultimate leaders.
