The False Afterlife

It felt like I was in a portal to the afterlife. But it still felt like I was waiting… For another me that is in the living world. I can look down at myself passively. I can withstand the pain passively. The pain that seems translucent. Sending a gleaming avalanche my way. On earth, they are saying that they are going to move my body. And that makes me laugh. Because it is so senseless. And I laugh one more time. I am blissful. I am listless. As my two halves transcend. Into a forgettable dream.
