The fallen leaf
The Fallen Leaf
The Quiet cool breeze blows, unseen, unfelt,
As I sit under an old decrypted tree, its roots exposed for all to see, no foundation to help it grow, yet it is exposed as to let us all see what is inside, much like our souls, kept hidden only for GOD to see.
The sky is slowly darkening, clouds emerge where once was clear blue sky, we all know why….
Fall is finally here, only barren tree branches, no colorful leaves to admire, only fallen leaves litter the ground, with barely a sound.
When HOPE fills our heart, it doesn't always make a sound, healing sometimes happens in silence.
The fallen leaf, what did it feel like as it drifted from its safety of its branch, who seen it fall, another season is upon us, as I sit under its tree, I wonder if anyone will notice my own falling off thus earth.
Life is but a swift breeze, so many rushing about, no one sits, taking in the fall colors anymore, am I the only one?
The fallen leaf, I reach out my tired, exhausted hand, catch it, maybe GOD sent this to me. He is never far out of my sight, let Go & Let God fill your heart.
