The Fall of Adam and Eve In her heart, a rage brewed For the man whose love She knew She could never have, Exclusively. Ripe for the disease of envy To increase; Satan enters Eve’s heart And convinces her It’s God’s fault For keeping Adam from her, And the truth is twisted. Adam, being of a free mind, As created by the hand of God, Love’s Him more than Eve; But Satan is relentless. There is always a path Of separation from God. In the Garden, a tree exists, And now Satan has conceived A plan to deceive Eve And plants the seed In her to reject God And embrace Adam. (The love she needs To make her whole.) There is a hesitation on her part But temptation is overwhelming. Greedily, she sinks her teeth Into the tree of good and evil’s fruit. Adam does the same (And turns his back on the Lord). They relinquish their innocence And are banished from eternity. They did not become ‘as gods’ But fell to Satan’s servitude. *** Reference: Geneses 3 (Old Testament)

You know that what is the most difficult thing in life, it is to control our desires, to control the temptation of devil, which he do so well that it seems that it is our heart which wants it to do, yeah both fell in his trap and we also inherited sin from them, but we have a example and we must try our best to avoid being getting tempted by satan, it was a really wonderful poem and a joy to read, good luck and have a really nice day
