The Fairy

Beautiful! You are like the fairy who brings happiness, joy and love to all you meet.
She had no fairy dust tucked away beneath great big wings
what she had was a wish or two ready for anyone who knew
that the sky was grand and the love of God was big ;
She didn't own a magic wand to brush away the pain
what she did own she shared, with bright souls that hungered
to walk the even path of life even when they swayed;
They always followed her light when she said, " this way "
though she was no fairytale fairy and owned no elfin power
she was human, touching souls and igniting the power within
if that defines a fairy then maybe a fairy she is.
