Notes About The Poem

Legends speak of the Pembroke Welsh Corgis, the faeries' loyal steeds, watching over humans when they're not riding off to war.

The Faerie's Steed

Ride out the hollow hills, my corgi steed
Though your size is tiny
Your brave heart is almighty!

Hey, thanks for checking out my poem Len! I've been wanting to try the Englyn form for a while, and since it's a genre that came from Welsh, I thought there's no better theme than a Welsh (urban?) folklore. And thanks for your participation in my previous contest, it was so great to see your entry.
