The Faerie Light

Gossamer wings,
shimmer gold and blue
Full of mysterious things
Faerie dust too

This hidden tree
deep in the forest,
of which you must be wary
This hidden tree you see....
is the home of the faerie

Such light
in something so small
this golden light
Illuminates the elven hall
This faerie rules us all

Loving and giving
this faerie does more
The gift of light to the living
Open the secret door,
gold and blue,
to explore
something new.

Smooth caress of her hand,
makes you wilt,
your heart tilt,
more than you planned

This golden light,
shining bright,
shadows gone
My heart won

This tiny faerie gleamed,
lighting up all round
or so it seemed
Without uttering a sound,
this faerie is what I have found

Deep down in shadowy green
this golden light
has to be seen
Gossamer wings
Full of mysterious things
Tiny faerie standing tall
in the elven hall

This gift of light
she holds in her hand,
like golden sand,
is for the giving,
who live in the land of the living

This golden light
that I saw
lit up the forest floor
The blue..............
lit up the trees too

The smallest thing
holds the light
holds your heart
holds everything
The gift of living
in golden bright
