Notes About The Poem

The Fading Light of Day by Tom Wolfe at Spillwords.com

The Fading Day

The sun sinks low,
A faint amber light.
Shadows softly grow,
To greet the future night.
Fading hues glow,
Then vanish from sight.

Hello Hilo, It carried a stillness that reminded me how endings can be gentle, not abrupt, and how beauty often lingers in the vanishing. Thank you for offering that pause. Holiday Blessings, Hilo, Daniel

A moment of profound reflection, finding grace in endings with its natural beauty and slower pace, seems to have offered that perfect space for quiet contemplation.

Aloha, Hilo Poet, The sunset is beautiful especially over a body of water when the sunset shines in a glow from the setting sun. Mahals/ Darlene/
