The Faceless

Commend the faceless
For we are your darkest side
Our silence shines, weaving design
Unseen because you hide

Believe your visions
Forget that we put them there
Your truth will please, spread our disease
Redeeming your fierce despair

We shape the shadows
We that must stand alone
Our movements haunt, our humour will taunt
Yet you will never know

Our playful secrets
Tuned in to what you are
When we speak, it will make you weak
Such pleasure in opening scars

Our voices calling
Like angels to take you home
A pleasant mask, taking you back
Our hatred for being alone
