The Eyes of a Child

The eyes of a child will always see
That the dollies cup is filled with tea
The action man always fights
And Barbie and Ken dance under neon lights

In the hundred acre wood
Life is almost always good
With Christopher Robin and Winnie The Pooh
And Eyore and Owl and Piglet too

Oh to see as a child can see
Not as an adult like you and me
To see a magic fairyland
Where Snow White and her prince walk hand in hand

To see the world how it can be
Not how it is for you and me
To see the world through innocent eyes
Where life is fun and Peter flies

If we try we really can
Though you're a grown woman and I'm a grown man
We can remember those days we laughed and smiled
And once more see the world through the eyes of a child
