The Eyes of a Cat

Looking into my eyes within myself,
They turn into the eyes of a cat.

The moment lightning strikes,
I become the cat’s eyes, ears, and whiskers,

And I discover a strange phenomenon.

Flattering words,
The look in your eyes upon me,
Your elegant gestures.

I see it all.

Lightning strikes once more,
And I look into my own pupils again.

Sweet whispers,
Your gentle gaze,
The elegance that beholds me.
