The Eyes Have It

They read beyond the layers
They see beyond the skin
Without one knowing
You have let them in
Speaking without words
Speaking without touch
They can tell you a story
The eyes can say so much
Regardless of colour
Or what one believes
Eyes aren't biased
They say what they see
So what do we portray
When we look out to see
Are we being ourselves
Or something make believe
Eyes speak honesty
They reflect what one feels
The eyes will reveal
everything from within
Not just in the mind
Body - and heart as well
The eyes are the key
Now how do you see
