The Existing of Desert Rose

Rose, Oh, Rose, of the desert. long and dry were the day's that you were gone. The sky ever pressing, dry the taste, air tormenting the soul, during your search. Ah, yet the dream of your return, grasped my longing desires, to see you once again. Past should turn present, with the lights of a summer night, cool the touch, when the heat we cannot bear, healing soul, your presence, one so rare. So Rose of the desert, return to us again, bring the scent filled swelling, burst in colors desire, grasp our long awaiting, Rose, it is you we require. Peaceful wanting, patient waiting, continue we will, for your appearance is worth, the awaited return, of your given gift, wait we will.
