The Evil of Mankind

forgiveness,
gone with the wind
there is only loneliness
a handwritten note on the table, a blood-red tear
a child,
a burial shroud on the table, a blood-red body
the pain of a mother who lost her child
the evil of mankind left its mark once again
when will we ever change?

The world is a violent place now and it is a painful thing, but thankfully there is still plenty of good. Thank you for taking the time to comment as well! :)
