The Eve

The Eve On this night a ball falls down from heights seen in the sky It’s not amongst the heavens In the midst of silent gray It falls upon bricks and steel A second in time awaits A worldly gasp to yet unfold thoughts of yester years The stalling seconds of frosted breath an ode to end the day A wish upon a falling star a kiss to lead the way A tear A tear... A languishing yet hurried hope for a blessed and brand new year!
