The Eternal Witness
The Eternal Witness
I once lived in the heart of a sun
dust and body
now I am a leaf
The sea of creation surrounds me
I move fluid eternal
in eternity
the witness
the child
the eye of the ever present
> NOW <
oscillating in thought
betwixt the material and the spiritual
I am a leaf on a tree
The pillar of heaven I descend
though I am not bound by stone
the breath of life
as I play
with light and clay
dust and body
All that cannot be named
I am
all by virtue defined
they veil and reveal the subtlety’s
the mysteries
a plain
a facet surface catching
reflecting
but a part
BEHOLD !
I am the diamond
the translucent expression
of all that lays within
Many names I have born
not the least of them
your own
for I am the face within the face
that looks out upon this world
I once lived in the heart of a sun
dust and body
now
I am a tree.
