The eternal nights in which I seek to lose myself in you
The eternal nights in which I seek to lose myself in you,
Not in the way they imagine,
But just to lie next to you, to breathe your perfume,
To soak in your essence, to become an echo of your being.
I want to hold your hands, to feel the lines of your destiny under my fingers,
To listen to every sigh of yours, to soothe my heart in the rhythm of your breath,
To caress your face, to run my fingers through your hair,
To immerse myself in your dazzling beauty, to get lost in details.
To capture your smile, in it my pulse finds peace,
To tickle you until your laughter becomes a balm for my eyes,
To sing together all the songs that brought you close to me,
To listen to the same songs that reminded you of me.
I will place my hands on your cheeks,
To admire the spark in your gaze, to see how I reflect in it,
I want to see the shivers I awaken in you,
To feel your heart beating in the rhythm of our love.
Let my thoughts be a river of desires pouring into your ocean,
To lose myself in your labyrinth of dreams and realities,
To feel complete through your mere presence,
To love you in the silence of the night, under the infinite sky.
To merge our souls, pulling you close,
To have you pull my cheeks, to tuck my hair behind my ears,
To sit together, counting stars, you are my sun,
To recite all my poems to you, and let this be the first of them.
