The Essense Of You
.
You are as warm as the glorious sunshine
That nourishes the flourishing delicate flowers
And lovingly helps them grow
You sparkle so bright
Like the diamond stars in a velveteen
Awe-inspiring sky at night
You are more precious and beguiling
Than a newborn babies precious first smile
You fill my world with vibrant color
And make life so worthwhile
.
You are as pure as a clear fresh mountain flowing stream
You are the reason my destiny
Every day with you is a cherished dream
You understand and heal the hurting child
Inside of me.
