The Equation

Memories from 2020: I was reminded that a lot of us were unwanted births and that at least women (in most countries around the world) tend to have more choices today than say 20 to 50 years ago. This still doesn't make that decision easy for them. I would hope that they find peace in whatever choice they make. The Equation By Michelle Morris 22/04/2020 I knew a girl Who had a baby At eighteen; Gave it away, To live her Dreams. Freedom and Future was Her goal - No baby in The equation To take its Toll. She got married; Had lots of kids, But memories Of that baby Guilt her still. To never know That little Soul; That's an Equation That burns her Whole. © Michelle Morris, 2020
