The Epoch of Time
I am sailing with the cloud through the epoch of time
I am following it wherever it goes until I meet with the divine
Daylight breaks with a mountain above my head
And the splendid grass on the hill
with roots anchored deep in the ground
Lie cold and bear sagging in the cold winter air
And the botanic garden on the other side
With assorted winter Lilly cover the ground
Waiting for the bride to come to town
The moisture has gone out of the air
And there is dryness everywhere
The temperature has fallen below minus zero degree
And a strange phenomenon is loitering in the atmosphere
Come and press your lips against mine
And fill your heart with moisture from the divine
Hold steadfast to your guns for paradise is on the run
The tale has been told long ago of how we met on the evening set
I am here and you are over there on the primetime show
Everything is different when the living meets with the dead
Not a single question is asked of how the magistrate completed the task
When the day of reckoning come to town and meets with the villagers
Sleeping on the ground you will know that life is real and ambition is full of zeal
It is the story that has no end
I still don’t know how the plane ended up in the bed
And why you cut a patch out of the runaway
I can visual the concept in my head
Of paradise running on an open field
And the giant ship is moving towards the shore
I am sailing with the epoch of time with hopes and visions
Planted in my mind
I can see you standing in the crowd wondering how you can get out
And when the sun comes out the hills and valleys will shout
Nature will come alive and the universe will deliver the grand prize.
I can see you standing there pulling weeds from the ground
And the villagers are celebrating a new friend that has come to the town
The epoch of time is moving with the cloud.
