It could very well be a lesson
At times a reflection back
At other times it became hard to even keep track
The mind serving the purpose
Words making sentences all obvious
If I said it, would you believe?
If I wrote you it, would you understand?
A moment in a Poet’s time
Sometimes while I am drinking wine
You saw me, but didn’t recognize
Inspiration calling
You felt encouragement, but desired more
It was your mind that assured you in explore
Brief pause
You started thinking with more ideas
At that point it was the rush of fear
Point to point
Suddenly persuasion set in
Continuation from where you began
Writing and not missing a single beat
No retreat nor defeat
You heard?
Since you are aware
You have shown you care
Pursued
Poet tomorrow and well beyond
