The Endless Waltz: Part 1
We must run up all our credit cards
Spending real money has become much too hard
And we must play the stock market
Trading happiness for lies
Believe not in all those politicians who are promising us peace
This peace is only obtained by all the soldiers who have been embraced by death
Leaving much too early in the race
We’re running out of places to bury all the forgotten faces in the ground
So how about it barkeep how about another round
Oh, let us drown away our sorrows
Sing a little tune
Come on boys lets howl and bark at the moon
It might be early in the morning but we won’t remember anything soon
So boys strum those guitars and man bang on those drums
I’l'm melodically release the air from my lungs
Lets sing in tongues
If we’re all alone tomorrow at least we sang together tonight
In this bar where smoke dull the light
We’l'm drink until death’s not to far from sight
You know life’s a beautiful blinding star
Well at least in the general sense
If only life came with some selectively absences
Been busy trying to find some traction
Each day is arduous and it is much too scary to wish
Because behind every wish is a hidden fear
We must take life in portions
Only if it came with one of those money back guarantees
Much happier are early years
No on to fear besides our peers
Learned to write all our letters with my dears
Cried only sickly sweet happy tears
I’ve never experienced any of these things
My past only brings me to oppressive tears
