The Endless Search

I'm on this long journey just to find you
Must spot you soon, my future looks blue
Looked high and low every rock and tree
I am dragging my friend Duke behind me

Maybe you have fallen between the cracks
You have been taken from me please come back
Memories of us rolling round my head
Duke tries to be a comfort in your stead

The day is at an end the sun is low
Feet are hurt but still I look to and fro
Duke begging me to give up this pursuit
His logic almost to good to refute

I won't give up the search for you partner
For you're my only pencil sharpener
