The End, the Beginning, Or An Escape

I see the fire burning in the distance
For the end of a lifetime right here
There is no way of knowing
When the fire will burn for us

I have no regrets
I have no remorse
I have lived for who I am
I have loved who I chose
I hated who I chose

I have No more

I feel it all around
My skin is tingling
I hear it the sound
In the distance it calls
There is a smell
The stench of death
The taste the terrible taste
Of fresh dirt

Was this the end
A new beginning
Or just an escape
From life?

Hey Matt, stopped by for a visit. This is a deeply introspective piece from you. Do remember though that light will always chase away the darkness. Be Blessed, Neva

It is just a question that I put out there for thought.

Awe man, id say reality taking a drift. Matt, don't let new beginnings end with questions

It is a question without an answer for some and a different answer for many.
