The End of Time

Deep waters recede the shoreline teems with life on the cosmic scale how little that matters! Waves blown by the wind crash on the rocks We are all dancing to a tune made popular by the seething life here underneath our feet let go of the moon grab on to something real Flesh to flesh eye to eye closer but still distant A great chasm between our souls I'll let you catch fire in this realm As you speed through the solar system Waiting for some forgotten planet to offer you a home a place beneath the stars

about poetry readings, I don't know where I can do that. I joined utah's poetry society, but felt very out of place with the small group that met in Provo, just six or seven free verse poets there and me, mainly a sonneteer. Also they read their poems aloud to each other and then picked over each, for ten min. . It was very dull. They were already pros at what they were doing. Why analyze?? Just enjoy. Unless something really stands out as wrong, I think that is a boring activity! I dropped out!
