The End of the Road
I've been suspicious for a long, long while
That someone else was sleepin' in my bed.
There's a smell now and then that ain't my style -
All he could say was, "It's all in your head"
I came home early just the other day,
And this hussie was sittin' on my horse.
Now, takin' my bed is one thing I say
Takin' my horse will get you killed - or worse
So that was the end of the road, my friend.
I loaded up the trailer in a fog.
I fixed it so he'd know it was the end.
I took his pickup, his trailer, and his dog.
