The End of Despair

Sore to the core she gazes into dusk’s sorrow Sadness soars into an empty sky’s pitiless night The advent of dawn disguises pain and dejection Blind at heart her mind wanders streets of woe A shivering sun’s relentless battle scorches the earth When the nightmares have vanished a day unfolds And she retreats once more into the comfort of dying 31st July 2017

I am not completely sure what the poem is about, but it is intriguing. Can be very real, or metaphorical. Great little poem.

Thank you Darren. The poem is a bit of both, metaphorical and real. But not about me at this moment in time (just to say that I am fine). Many wishes, Kai PS: I am posting less on poetry soup these days, because I had some poems rejected for big competitions, because of previous publications.
