The End Is Near...

When the blood runs free,
It strengthens me.
As I swim among the stars,
I can see my true scars.
I try to breathe,
but i have nothing to believe.
All hope for me, is lost,
was my heart the true cost?
Why cant i see,
That this life will end shamefully.
I gave you my heart,
But it fell apart.
you promised to keep,
yet i still weep.
This pain never...
This sorrow will last forever.
Why wait for tomorrow,
for all thats left is misery and sorrow.
As i drop the bloody knife,
I fall and end my life...

If this is about you, I nave the following to say. This, too shall pass. Remember that. Don't pick up that knife. There's pain all around, but there is also beauty. When pain comes, stop those thoughts and intentionally think of something beautiful, wonderful, and hope. I hope it isn't you, though. You've got to stick around and write more poetry! God bless you. Congratulations on your being featured this week... Always, Dane
