The End

The end is in sight
The end of this fight.
The end of all the fuss.
The end of what was us.

Should I feel sad?
Or should I be glad?
Should I do a dance
For the end of romance?

You are so volatile
Not all worth while.
You belittle me
You did not see.

I am not your whore
For I am worth more.
One day I will love again
I cannot wait for it to begin.

'Til then please stay away
For I rue the very day
I was ever your friend
Our marriage comes to an end.
