The Empty Life

The empty life
That hard strife
Ambition and the moment of despair
All the things finite
......and infinite
But not forever
That empty moment
When no one knows you
You hide behind that veil
Created as a shield
That empty thought
Thought to drive out mocks
You feel in the heart
Your helplessness on that day, that empty day
Standing in rain
Tears disguised as water drops
Screams as lightening
The sound of heartbreak as twig breaking
That empty minute
When you lost this battle
But that spectacular sunrise
That beautiful second when again blooming
You come out wounded
Yet again ready to fight
Even if death knocks at your door
At a dark night..........
