The Empty Chair Next To Your Bed
The empty chair next to your bed

The empty chair next your bed
May appear like no ones there
But if you will listen very closely
Every now and then you may hear
The sounds of a hushed whisper
That may not come through very clear
And you may smell the fresh
fragrance
of a scent that seems very familiar
It could be cologne or perfume
or the smell of fresh cut flowers
That one of your loved ones used to wear
Just to let you know that they are
there sitting in your empty chair
That may appear like no ones there
To remind you that they will always be near
