THE EMPTY CHAIR

As I look around the room all
I can see the empty chair you once sat at
We had a lot of laughs and chats
This room with this chair feels
Like there is a shadow of you
Sitting right next to me
I lost you on that dreadful day
But I know in the long road I will be okay
This chair will always be yours
And it will never go away
Every day we think of you
From your past to the present
We will always remember that laugh
And even your many tough times
Your name will always come up
With all the great memories
That is more than just a picture frame
Deep in my heart, I can only feel
There will always be more love for you
Even with the empty chair
