The Elusive Inner Peace
THAT ELUSIVE PEACE
For today i feel so drained...
EmotionallY and physically..
but my inner fire still glows..
Ever so bright - and i feel alright
for av found new friends- poetry soup
an avenue to pour them emotions out..
these mind swirling emotions
that lie swelled up within me
blinding my sun and dimming..
dimming my soon shinning star
But that inner fire...
still burns ever so bright..
that no amount of upheavals
will ever dim...
and the anger inside me
sacrificed to my inner fire
extinguishes pent up..
hard feelings.. rejuvenating my joy
May be perhaps that elusive- inner peace
will find me tomorrow.. after am awoken
for may be its the inner peace..
knocking at the door of my soul
as i feed the fire in me..
the sacrifice of my anger...
a ray of peace for joy dwells in me
and the elusive inner peace is a guest...
