The Ellipse
I stand on the ellipse of time walking around the circle of my mind. The lines are very thin and the distance between us is very slim. We are just a stone throw away so I kept looking to see if you would come my way. I kept walking around in circles hoping that you will meet me the axis of my heart before the day starts. It is laden with subjects of my soul and the sorrows that often make me feel bold. And the axis on which my heart spins can feel the universe rhythm. I can feel the heavy drumbeats that rolls and they make up the perpendicular of my soul; the pattern is already set, and truth will reveal my inward depth. I stretched my hand towards the North Pole, trying to dodge the heat that kept burning my soul, but the South Pole was on fire too and there was nothing that I could do to pivot from ellipse that bound me and you. I open the door that leads to the back street; it is the place where all the cast members meet. I am trying to exit from the ellipse, but it had me, bounded for reasons and profit. I knew that I had to go but some things depend on the life of the show. Something just cannot be replaced unless you use a sledgehammer to break down the gate. Once you are in, the universe will make you sing, and you will hear the heavens bells ring. Everything was dead silent for a while, and the foci was communicating with the skies; I could hear it whispering to the galaxies saying that the stars are happy and so I kept my eyes on the focal point until the Sun emerge from beyond the line. The axis is what you see but the angle looks more like you and me. From the side the circle is the ellipse, but when you get closer the image is a kiss elevated on a petri dish. A sudden silence cross my heart and the ellipse of time kept moving with the line; you came just in time to preserve what is mine.
Meet me at the ellipse.
