Eccentric and peculiar in ways
Like a daffodil in summer
She didn’t always fit in or seem
Sure of her place in society
Her music was mystery and fantasy
Creativity oozed through her veins
Coloring her in hues of passion
Lifting prayers of vital praise
Shadows of light created a mist
Storms of heartfelt melancholy
Riding on waves of intensity
Flavors of breathtaking inspiration
Her poetry was impassioned, gracious
Appealing to the senses, the emotions
Awakening desires, fires of insight
Through laughter, love and silent light
Dreams sought her through a tapestry
Of intriguing designs, shallow and thin
Threading their way through loss and sin
Until they colored her in hues of hope
Her kindness was like a breath of concern
Enchanting the forest of her fanciful
Ideas and ambitions, her flow of aspirations
That created a essence of her imagination
Ingenuity poured from her reveries
Kissing naked breaths of faith
Rustling the leaves of a devoted promise
That echoes through wings of gratitude
Her prayers lift hearts and souls
With worship that silences doubts
And creates assurance within the one
Who listens to the sound of her love
In her, there is true faith that we will know
God in all His glory, handing out blessings
And paradise awaiting on the edges
Of a heavenly home, a place called forever
