The Echo Between Stars
I found you not in light, but in shadow’s breath—
A whisper etched in realms that outlive death.
We never touched — and yet, you shiver still,
Each time I breathe across the void’s cold will.
You speak in silence, I bleed without a trace,
In the blackened pulse where heartbeats lose their place.
Ours is a love not scribed by mortal time,
But carved in hush, where cursed souls climb.
Your eyes — twin eclipses that swallow the sun,
My soul — a storm, undone but never to run.
You wore grace like the last petal on a dying rose,
I wore ruin like a crown fate never chose.
You felt me, didn’t you —
Beneath the bone, beyond the blue?
Like Juliet’s breath beneath the stone,
Like the scream love keeps alone.
If they ask, tell them this:
We met where gravity forgets its name,
Where stars dissolve
And ghosts burn without shame.
Nicole...
In this life or the next, speak my name in the dark.
I will not answer with light
But with a spark.
A vow. A pull. A flicker through pain —
Still burning,
Though you never spoke my name.
