The Easy Way Out

The Easy Way Out

(Verse 1)
I'm breaking this chain
Toughing it out
Through the pain and the rain
I get on my grind
Hoping one day it'll change
Sometimes seems like
Situations the same
Working you work real hard
At these dead end jobs
Then ,finally take a stand
Grab the paper
Write down a plan
Got the upper hand
I raised it high
Know with the man above
Is listening in the sky
He'll help me get by
When it feels like a drought
One thing about it
Don't want the easy way out

(Chorus )
Wake up every morning
Trying to figure out
What this thing called life
Is all about
Don't want everything given to me
Want to earn mine
Grant me the serenity
I don't want all of the hand outs(no hand outs)
I will not take the easy way out

(Verse 2)
Here I go
Tired of the struggle
Lord help me out
Make it double
Double the blessings
Lesser I'm stressing
You said the teacher talking
Well I'm learning my lesson
I'm taking heed
All i`m trying to do
Is really succeed
By any means necessary
I'm going to get it
I'll do everything I'll never quit it
I'll relive it
Get over my pass
It's a true saying
Trouble don't last
Listen please
Hear me out
Don't always take the easy way out (out)

Chorus )
Wake up every morning
Trying to figure out
What this thing called life
Is all about
Don't want everything given to me
Want to earn mine
Grant me the serenity
I don't want all of the hand outs(no hand outs)
I will not take the easy way out

Hook
Every body
Should want
To do better
And if you don't
Get it together
Don't just look for handouts
Don't always look for the easy way out
Every body
Should want
To do better
And if you don't
Get it together
Don't just look for handouts
Don't always look for the easy way out

Chorus )
Wake up every morning
Trying to figure out
What this thing called life
Is all about
Don't want everything given to me
Want to earn mine
Grant me the serenity
I don't want all of the hand outs(no hand outs)
I will not take the easy way out

Repeat until chorus fades
