The Earth Will Die Without the Rain

The Earth Will Die Without The Rain March 26. 2016

This is Bobby Sands to Ireland down below
The message to my people, why we had to go
Born in Ireland, disrespected by the ones that came
Rights denied, imprisoned, the played their dirty game
We tried in life to make things right
Ten of us, never gave up the fight
My Irish sky, my land of green
The peoples choice, I had a dream
Harassed by day and the dark of night
We had enough, we can make things right
All around this lovely land our people die
Young and old, my Irish family we had to try
We felt the pain but would do it again
the earth will die without the rain
Full of fear but strong in heart
Ten heroes of Ireland played their part
Freedom from the heavens above
God bless my country and people we love
This is Bobby to Ireland down below
The message to my people, why we had to go
