The Eagle

Once the eagle flew proud
Reaching upward
Attempting to catch the stars
Unafraid she soured
Ever searching
Death has entered the door
No freedom will she find in her wings
Fear and dread are all she sees
No more shall she hope
Discover has died in her heart
Atlantis is no more a dream
The city which crumbled in the ocean
Is now lost forever amongst the clouds
