The Dreams
The dreams left him and fled
They set out on a path he had dreamed of for a lifetime, but never dared.
Dreams get tired of waiting ,
abandon their master and flee
They left him like a dried oak trunk in the middle of the greenery.
He is now lifeless,
like an empty shell,
Left in the dark,
cursing himself for not locking his dreams or why he never started the path he loved so much.
