The Dream Date
Where do you find the right girl,
When you feel like going on a date?
They're so few and far between,
It seems that way of late.
Girls are funny creatures,
Who give men fits all the time.
"You can't live with or without them",
Or, so goes the rhyme.
Smart girls are too picky,
Thinking they know it all.
They often look at you from their pedestal,
Trying to make you feel small.
Pretty girls are a real treat,
Except for their fashion sense.
They will wear the mottliest of clothes,
Sometimes, it makes you wince.
Ugly girls are hard to date,
I'm going to tell you why.
They say beauty is only skin deep,
But, that's difficult to believe when you look them in the eye.
Dumb girls are the best to date,
You can tell them anything.
They believe every word without hesitation,
Never, ever, questioning.
So, I'll look for a dumb girl,
To take out on a date or two.
And if she's pretty or smartens up along the way,
Well...that would be alright, too!
