Sticky mammogram The dreaded breast biopsy Little prick and burn. Warm flesh on cold stainless steel The breathless waiting begins.

I can relate so much as I've recently written poems on the subject Caren - from November to january were the longest months waiting waiting first for biopsy results which were 'indecisive' then having the lump removed and waiting even longer to discover it was a wart in the breast tissue called a 'papilloma' ... trust me to be different! I still have a haematoma but its slowly being re absorbed :-) hugs jan xx
