Notes About The Poem
This is based on some fact and some half-truths and some non-truth..
The home in which we live is on a hillside going to a creek. The person who built it well insulated it with no air conditioning..He may have had window units but if so took them with him..

It was like living in hades it was so hot here for a long time..Also there wasn't much shade..The trees have grown to give us a shady lot but it is still hot here..

The Dragon Mouth

.

There's an insulated home in the south
Where lived one and only old dragon mouth
         From his lips insults spout
         A.C. now heat blocks out
The old dragon mouth still a cottonmouth
