The Dove Tree

A flock of Christmas doves
carried a turquoise veil
through a white winter sky
and found a willow tree
weeping and alone
in the cold of a December day

The veil was pinned in the sky
and twenty five doves
alit in the bare branches
so the tree was no longer alone
as it listened to the song
of the doves in the chilled morning air..

This is amazing and how beautiful a site to behold as the doves take their way to this lonely tree. The words flow so easily and the detail is terrific. Michael

Wow, this is magnificent. The doves with the blue veil - amazing! As for your comments on my bi-polar poem, my husband has this as well, and boy can I relate to those mood swings well, as it is always hard to watch one you love so torn apart and tortured. bless you for sharing, love, Kristin
