The Doors of Perception

The Doors Of Perception

Hollywood portrays the sinner as an actual saint
It's reverse psychology at it's best thrown in the mix
We perceive choice as a willing license to sin
Yet there stands a glimmer of hope a glittering light from above
A light to guide a darkened pathway of disbelief
The doors of perception swing wide open to the ambiance of the moment
Filter through the senses througout a variation in a dream
People scream as they equate logic for fear
For I shed a single tear to help numb the inner pain
An eternal flame vested in the natural light of it's hidden claim
We each must participate in the dance in which will bring romance
Relax at the wheel where participants claim it's no big deal
Shelter lies dormant amidst it's beckoning plough
A challenge to be free is a question of time
The doors of perception is directly in my brain
Some people today are crazy and totally insane
Use as an example the spinning wheel in the game of let's make a deal
We travel through a course in the middle of our brain lest I refrain
Another destination in which the road will change
We shall sigh and proclaim it's no big deal yet inside we cry
A thought made in the darkness has now been brought to light
Never relent in life for pursuing your dreams to ever give up on the fight
A chosen few will excel to the next stage of life amidst the danger
A certain stranger wears his suit to tight in the middle of the night
He chose to hide behind the four walls of certain compromise
One word to the wise choose faith to overcome the storms in life
The doors of perception are a will of power nothing more in between
