The Door
The door opens but for a sliver of light,
Waiting for us to notice
Our eyes to touch moments of the extraordinary.
In the briefest instance,
Possibilities flicker, calling us to dare,
To step into the unknown, to embrace the rare.
The door opens but for a sliver of time,
For those with the courage to enter,
Feel what it means to be truly free,
To grasp the fleeting chance, to seize destiny.
Hesitation is the thief of dreams,
And inaction lets the moment fade,
But those who leap, who trust,
Find worlds beyond the lingered threshold.
Do not wait for the perfect sign,
The door opens but for a sliver of time,
Grasp it now, before doubt claims its light.
