The Dog

The dog is drinking out of the toilet again
I can’t find my right foot.
What do you mean the dog chewed it up?
He wants to come in
He wants to go out
Honey do you smell something funny?
Is that a stain on the carpet?
Where the heck was Banjo last night?
He smells like a skunk.
Did you feed him this morning?
He has to have his treats
And rabies my God
He could be deceased.
He lies on the floor
And pretends to sleep
But he is always awake
When I try to leave
Loyal he may be
But he’s a pain
In my rear
Because he knows me
Better than you do my dear.

Love the twist at the end... got the smells, trying to keep the bathroom door closed and all the hassle that come with the joy of having a great companion...he even understands you better than your spouse... love it SMILES

Thank you for your kind words. I have three Border Collies and I love them very much be they can be a handful. Sometimes I think they are smarter than me, though that's not saying a whole lot for them!

Linda, I am not hip to this SMS stuff. I apologize if I offended you. Sometimes the blue turns into green and I don't seem to mean what I say. Please forgive me.
