Loving you is like walking on eggshells, It's sure not clear that you want to be here, That the prescription for your loneliness, Is a large spoonful of my kind of cheer. Caution's advised when you try to help friends, You never know just how it will turn out, When they discern you know they're not perfect They're likely to sport a permanent pout! So if you want help best be specific, Whatever you do, don't give help 'free rein! ' Investing in growth won't feed your ego, Because slightest change is sure to cause pain! Asking for help can endanger friendship And free help's rarely worth the price that's paid, If you don't want to go through the ringer, Best get professional help (or get laid) ! So be happy my doorbell is broken, And rejoice doubly my voicemail is full, Our friendship may perhaps last forever, The doctor is out (and that is no bull) !
